    Il suono profondo della Gran Cassa lacera il silenzio. Assieme al Tam-Tam esso esprime un’energia trattenuta a stento che a tratti si sprigiona e fa da innesco al suono globale: il percussionista evoca il suono dell’orchestra come uno sciamano evoca gli elementi della Natura e con essi continua a intrattenere, attraverso la danza rituale, un profondo dialogo.   Vari momenti si succedono, secondo un’idea di narratività antica e sempre potente che contempla ritorni,  periodicità, ma anche improvvise rotture e caos. Diversi processi sono costruiti come climax e trascinano l’ascoltatore all’inseguimento di direzionalità, più o meno evidenti, che scolpiscono il suono e le sue tensioni.

  The deep sound of the Bass Drum rips through the silence. Together with the tam-tam, it expresses an energy that can hardly be contained, and now and then bursts forth and evokes the orchestra sound, just like the shaman evokes the elements of Nature, and engages a profound dialogue with them through ritual dance.
  Different moments overtake and overcome each other, according to an ancient yet ever-powerful idea of narrative that entails returns and periodicity, as well as abrupt rifts and chaos. Many processes are developed as “climaxes,” dragging the listener toward a pursuit of more or less apparent directions that carve the sound and its tensions.
