“Para além do porto / Há só o ampio mar…”. Al di là del porto c’è solo il vasto mare (da una poesia di F. Pessoa). L’immagine, e più ancora l’esperienza, il vissuto del mare, è da sempre metafora privilegiata per l’arte. Il mio mare è innanzitutto carico della forza dirompente e trascinante delle onde grosse, è alto mare agitato e caotico ma è anche mare profondo, oscuro, che cela e rimescola e infine rivela, come relitti, memorie melodiche.
“Para além do porto / Há só o ampio mar…”. Beyond the harbour there is only the wide sea. The image or, even better, the lived experience of the sea has been since ever one of the more elected metaphores of Art. My sea is mainly charged with the disruptive and dragging strength of the large waves, of the high seas, of the rough waters. But it is also the deep and dark sea that hides and shuffles and finally reveals melodic memories as wrecks.
